Sundays

10:30am
1711 N Van Ness Ave.
Los Angeles, CA 90028

We are an open-minded, Spirit-filled, non-denominational church in Hollywood.

Our services are super-relaxed. They last for about 1hr 30min. There’s parking, good coffee and donut holes. You don't have to wear special clothes.

Come on your own terms. No-one will pressure you to get involved or give money.

But, if you decide bread is for you, there are loads of ways in which you can get plugged in.

Kids Church

Kids church at bread starts after worship [we all do that together in the sanctuary] and it is a PARTY.

We play, we craft, and we revel in God’s wonder! We run two classes of kids church: Early Childhood (3yo - K) and Elementary (1st - 6th). There is also a nursery for infants (and the parents of) that has an audio feed of the service.

A Letter of Welcome

This is for you if you’re wondering if bread is a church where you will be welcomed and can find a home. Of course, any words published on a website can only do so much, but we hope what follows at least gives a flavor of what bread is like.

Towards a multi-racial church

Bread is located in one of the most culturally diverse neighborhoods of the world, so we want to be a church where people from all cultures, ethnicities, races and backgrounds can belong. This means everyone being able to express themselves in worship, use their gifts, and experience the unity in diversity of God’s kingdom, where all are one in Jesus.

We’re not there yet, we’ve made plenty of mistakes along the way, and have much to learn. But with God’s grace, and in the power of his Spirit, we’re committed to becoming a place where the fullness of heaven in all its rich diversity is represented, and where all prejudice and racism is renounced.
